In a few weeks time I am performing as part of Metal’s Harvest festival in Cathedral Square, Peterborough backed by Peterborough Take Note choir. The set is going to be John Ball, Three Acres and A Cow followed by Woodman, Spare That Tree.
I’m really looking forward to sharing the arrangements, they sound amazing with forty people singing together. We will be performing on the Sunday lunchtime during the community feast somewhere around the 2pm mark.

I’m really looking forward to Greenbelt festival next month, the line up looks really good. ‘Duke Special’ and ‘This Is The Kit’ are particular favourites of mine.
Rachel Rose Reid and I are performing ‘Three Acres And A Cow, A History Of Land Rights And Protest In Folk Song And Story‘ at The Canopy Stage, 10am on Monday 31st August. Naomi Wilkins will be joining us too which means some lovely harmonies are in store!
I have a nice weekend coming up soon with four London gigs in three days. I can only tell you about two of them as the other couple are private, but if you haven’t ever been to Walthamstow Garden Party or the London Permaculture Festival, I can highly recommend both of them!
Really looking forward to performing at Fire In The Mountain in May.
It is a wonderful little festival set in a beautiful part of Wales which I have heard so much about. They have bands and musicians coming from the USA, Canada, Scotland, Ireland, England and Wales including Appalachian fiddle master Bruce Molsky and Scottish and Irish pipers Ross Ainslee and Jarlath Henderson
I will be performing ‘Three Acres And A Cow, A History Of Land Rights And Protest In Folk Song And Story‘ with Rachel Rose Reid as well as a set of my own songs with Chance Kellner on the violin and backing vocals.
Tickets are available from http://www.fireinthemountain.co.uk/

I will be performing ‘Three Acres And A Cow – A History Of Land Rights And Protest In Folk Song And Story’ with Rachel Rose Reid at the Cock & Bull Festival in Wiltshire on 26th July after lunchtime around the 2pm mark.
Have a little peek at their website .. there is loads of great stuff going on including some brilliant friends of mine such as Nick Hart, Pete The Temp, Whiskey Moonface and a host of others. The festival is a fundraiser for a really great farm charity which connects young people from the city with food and the countryside.

Here is a beautiful video about Jamie’s Farm –
