The fine folk at The Utrophia Project have asked me to come and sing ‘The Hackney Gentrification Song‘ plus a few more at their closing night before they get knocked down to make way for …. guess what …yup …flats.
The march of progress goes on. The night is billed as –
“A night of art, music, homemade food, film, performance and more to celebrate the last days of the ice cream factory.
Join us as we raise a glass to the old girl, a song in our hearts, another memory made.
So long, farewell, auf wiedersehen, goodbye.”

There are going to be a load of other brilliant acts scattered around the market. Do come and bring a picnic.
