I have been having loads of fun working with a superb director called Lucy Pawlawk recently. We have been playing around with puppeteering plants and are shooting a video for Mariam’s Cake with a marionette, plants and the band in the coming weeks, featuring the legendary skills of Ronnie Le Drew.

The Russet is a wonderful new restaurant/cafe/venue on the edge of Hackney Downs run by the brilliant Steve Wilson, the man behind the People’s Kitchen at Passing Cloud.
I will be singing a few songs at the launch party sometime in February. As you can see from the photo below, it is a lovely space.

new album launched
Whoops, I seem to have forgotten to post on my site that my 3rd album ‘The Nearest Door’ is now launched. You can find it on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, Jamendo and many other sites.
The place I would most like you to listen and consider buying it from is http://music.robingrey.com as this bandcamp powered site gives me the highest cut of the money and includes custom artwork, lyrics and commentary for each track.
