Trivia of Eccentric England – The Hub National Centre for Craft & Design – Sleaford, Lincolnshire – 14/09/11

As part of the programme ‘Trivia of Eccentric England, Lincoln Art Programme will be screening a short film by Matt Stokes, titled the Gainsborough Packet.

Stokes is often concerned with musical sub cultures and within this film he engages with folk traditions, with particular intreat in the shared legacy of folk music in Camden and Newcastle.

The Gainsborough Packet is set to a strong soundtrack as Stoke collaborated with Jon Boden from Bellowhead, composer Alistair Anderson and Tim Kerr.
